The Gigaset N870 IP PRO is a scalable IP DECT multicell system designed to provide wireless business telephony across larger offices, multi-floor buildings, warehouses, campuses and other sites where a single DECT base station is not enough. It connects professional Gigaset DECT handsets to on-premise or cloud-based VoIP systems, allowing users to move around the site while maintaining connectivity.
The N870 IP PRO uses multiple DECT base stations to provide seamless roaming and call handover across the coverage area. A medium-sized installation can support up to 250 handsets, 60 base stations and 60 simultaneous calls, while features including Power over Ethernet, auto-provisioning, central phonebook support and secure TLS/SRTP communication make it suitable for managed business deployments.
